So Many Common Reactions in the Chemical World

. While a lot of chemical reactions can be vastly different, there are some common reactions that take place around us everyday. First off, a chemical reaction is the process that ends in the changing of one set of chemical substances to another. These reactions can either be spontaneous, which require no input of energy, or they can be non-spontaneous, which often need the input of some form of energy in order for the reaction to take place. These forms of energy can include; light, heat or electricity. These reactions entail the transformations that specifically involve the motion of electrons in the creating and breaking of chemical bonds. The reactants are known as the substance or substances that participate in the chemical reaction. Generally, chemical reactions are categorized by a chemical change, and also to the production of one or more unique products that have different properties then the reactants.

One of the ways, in which a wide range of common reactions take place is by using chemical synthesis. This is a useful method of design in order to achieve a product, or multiple products. It takes place by manipulating the chemical and physical compounds involving one or mare reactions. Because this process is used to create so many of the products we use everyday, it tends to be an accurate, repeatable process that can produce the exact same results over and over, no matter where in the world it is taking place.

A wide range of different common chemical reactions are used in conjunction with chemical synthesis in order to produce the sought after product. In biochemistry, which is the study of the chemical processes in living organisms. Dealing with their structure and the function of cellular components like carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, biomolecules and nucleic acids, these reactions make it possible for the decompositions that would otherwise not be possible to attain within the cell.

The reaction of an acid base with a base will yield salt plus water. The cation in the salt comes from the base while the anion comes from the acid. The base can also be a metal hydroxide, a metal oxide or a weaker base. The acids or the base, or both can be solids, gases or liquids, and they can also be in an aqueous solution. The cation of the base usually remains the same. Another common reaction takes place between the ammonium salts that react with metal hydroxides and oxides in an acid base reaction which results in the production of ammonia. In this type of common reaction, the reactants may be in an aqueous or pure state.

Common reactions take place everyday that directly involves our everyday use and consumption. Some of these are; burning of chemicals that produce energy to run our vehicles. Using specialized light sensitive chemicals to make that make an image when it is exposed to light on film. Maybe one of the most widely used by everyone around the entire world is the common reaction in the forming of an antacid. These have a chemical reaction with the HFC in your stomach to reduce the amount of acid in it.
